Upon graduating NYC's School of Visual Arts, Robert took his BFA and did the only natural, logical thing... he formed a rock 'n' roll band and played at CBGB's. He began his professional illustration career as the assistant to the legendary comics artist Will Eisner, creator of The Spirit. He has produced literally thousands of bold and colorful graphic illustrations for the nation's top magazines, newspapers, book publishers, ad agencies and corporations. His clients have included Citibank, Verizon, Coca-Cola, Mastercard, Newsweek and The Wall Street Journal, where he's been a regular contributor. He has an entire studio wall full of prestigious design awards from the likes of Print, Graphis, Society of Publication Designers, Society of Newspaper Designers, etc. (OK, technically they're in a couple of boxes in the basement at the moment but you get the idea.) He is the author/illustrator of The Amazing Animal Alphabet of Twenty-Six Tongue Twisters, Robert Pizzo’s Amazing Animal Alphabet Coloring Book, Robert Pizzo’s Amazing Animals Sticker Book, and Robert Pizzo’s Industrial Strength Coloring Book. Robert and his wife Susan are the proud parents of three wonderful girls who all got the creative genes. Once, when asked by a teacher what her dad did for a living, one of his daughters replied, "I don't know, he just stays home and colors all day." See his work at _Website not available.
