Hey there, I'm Rosie. I’m a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with over 8 years of experience. So far in my career, I’ve worked on everything from branding to illustrations to social media to data visualisation. I have plenty of experience working in both print and digital design. I’m friendly, reliable and hard-working. I don’t think you should ever stop learning new skills. I always push myself out of my comfort zone to ensure my work stands out from everyone else. I’ve created a coffee brand inspired by Bowie, a gin bottle based off nothing but an old map and even designed illustrations for a children's computer game. I believe the design world is changing and evolving digitally so it's important for the designers to evolve with it. --- Employment and project experience: Junior Designer - Fifteen Studio June 2016 – February 2018 Graphic Designer - Drumbeat April 2018 – December 2020 Graphic Designer - JBH December 2020 - June 2024

    uniE621 Uswitch – German Words
As part of a campaign for Uswitch inspired by covid related german words, I created illustrations to accurately and humorously visualise them. All illustrations and graphics were created solely by myself. This campaign was highly successful and was featured in various publications including forbes magazine online. graphicdesigner illustrator
    uniE621 CBBC – Advent Calendar
The CBBC Advent Calendar is an annual game released every December. The user can come back every day through to Christmas Day to unlock new and exclusive clips, games and quizzes. My role in this was to create the Illustrations for the tree and games within. With it requiring 25 different games, this was one of the biggest illustration based projects of my career so far. illustrator graphicdesigner
uniE621 Uswitch – Broadband Horror Stories
As part of a campaign for Uswitch I was tasked with creating horror movie posters that visualise common internet problems or ‘Broadband Horror Stories’. I decided to utilise my illustration skills and create vintage style posters using the Uswitch brand colour pallete, and created humorous subtitles for each of them. graphicdesigner illustrator
    uniE621 Money.co.uk – Oscars Dress
As part of a campaign for Money.co.uk I was asked to visualise the ‘Ultimate Oscars Dress’ using data on dresses worn by previous oscar winners. I also visualised the what ‘not to wear’ to avoid losing. As most campaigns for Money.co.uk were usually very bold and colourful, I decided to make this one stand out we would totally strip the background/type colours. This worked perfectly with the fashion style illustrations and contrasted well with the ‘winners dress’, pushing the audiences attention to it. graphicdesigner illustrator
    uniE621 Tails.com – Popular Pet Names
During my time at JBH i’ve worked on several campaigns for Tails. Tails had strict brand guidelines which I was always careful to follow. graphicdesigner illustrator datavis
    uniE621 Rebel Coffee
Rebel Coffee is an independent coffee shop based in Warrington, Cheshire. The client wanted a bold, contemporary look that accurately represented the theme of the business. Striking yet feminine, this retro California inspired logo can’t be missed. Modern but also classic, including a lightning bolt representing a burst of caffeine-fuelled energy with a subtle nod to the late David Bowie (for obvious reasons). graphicdesigner branding
    uniE621 Betting.com – Local Brands Football Kits
As part of a campaign for Betting.com, I visualised various football kits inspired by brands from their own town/city. illustrator graphicdesigner
    uniE621 Capsool
Capsool is a Time Capsule app, created for families to store their most precious memories and share with only their closest friends. I was entrusted with the design and illustrations for the user interface. The client wanted a bright and cheerful style. I created character based illustrations using an eccentric colour palette to provide a feeling of positivity and fun for the user. The logo incorporates an infinity symbol, encouraging the idea of storing memories. The design echoes the curves and friendly feel of the illustrations. graphicdesigner branding appdesign illustrator
    uniE621 One Vesta Street
One Vesta Street is a large property development based in New Islington, Manchester. I was entrusted with the creation of the full brand from start to finish. The client wanted something high-end yet modern which also represented the historical aspect of the name; Vesta, goddess of the hearth, home, and family in Roman religion. The finished product was a combination of modern clashing colours displayed at angles that echo the form of a ‘V’. The Type based logo utilises an old, classical typeface as a very subtle nod the roman theme. graphicdesigner branding
    uniE621 9 Orange Court
9 Orange Court is a gin created for MKR, a chemical distribution company in celebration of their 150 year anniversary. The project was to brand and design the product. The name came from MKR’s original address. Within the logo, I included a subtle typographic element in which I connected the G and T creating a unique ligature with an obvious nod to the mixture of gin and tonic. For the labels, I used a map showing the original 9 Orange Court which I digitally restored and placed on the inside of the back label making it visible from the front of the bottle. The back of the bottle includes space for the distiller to sign and fill in the bottle and batch numbers, giving each bottle a personal touch. The unique shape of the front label came from the shape of the court itself. graphicdesigner branding logo
    uniE621 Just So
Just so is a high-end dressmaking and alterations service. The client wanted a brand that was soft yet striking. I accomplished this by creating a logo that appears simple at first but at second glance you notice the subtle nods to the industry; cross-stitch J and button O. By using a gentle complimentary colour palette, this keeps the brand clean while also giving a feeling of simplicity, care and nurture. graphicdesigner branding logo
