This project was inspired by Warsan Shire's poem "Home".
Illustrations show quite an opposite of what the poem says: instead of running away from your home you have to stay and protect it. That is exactly what Lithuanians did many times throughout history. In this instance, the illustrations show Lithuanian Partisans and how they protected Lithuania in 1944-1953.
Part of the project was to bind these illustrations into a book.
