My passion for music comes first and foremost. Currently, I play guitar and sing in my band Treehouse of Horror, and in the past have played bass in several other bands across the Greater Toronto Area (Heavy Sweater, Plastic Spaceman). Going through the writing and recording process with these bands has brought to light my passion for audio engineering. Since 2020, I have been expanding my basement project studio to record myself and other bands, honing my craft, and finding myself as an artist and creative. Through my time at Toronto Metropolitan University and my year at Metalworks Institute, I have honed my skills in several DAW’s, including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and Ableton, with Pro Tools being my main workstation. Additionally, my education in the film industry has more than familiarized me with post-production formats and techniques, as I have sound-designed several student films at TMU, as well as many commercials and movie scenes through my time at Metalworks. My skills also extend to scoring films with my own compositions. I have also been dabbling in electronics since I was a child, which has developed into a passion for misfit analog gear such as tape players, tube radios, and strange noise devices or guitar pedals. Taking my gear apart, servicing, and modifying it to my specifications allows me to have a unique personal touch in everything I write and record. If you are looking for someone with a unique creative edge, you’ve found them.
