I am a freelancer Designer and have been in the field of design for more than three decades. Over these 30+ years, I have gained lot of experience and have worked on numerous creative and versatile projects that required concept development, creative thinking, art direction, corporate branding, implementing branding strategies at corporate as well retailer’s level. I have worked with multi-national brands like Swarovski, Koppert Canada, Investors group, Alfa Laval, SKF Bearings Ltd., Kirloskar group and many more. Over these years what I have learnt and that I also strongly believe is; “Simplicity is the most difficult thing to achieve - in design as well as in concept development”. As a Designer, whenever I start any project, the most important discussion I have is what you or your client wants to achieve with the creative. The next important thing that I consider is the demographic to be reached and the budget allocated. These are a very important and critical as every age group has a different approach, a different vision, their own perspective, and their own media of advertising. After working with so many with different brands, what I have realized in branding is, most companies have their defined guideline and a vision for their brand. But there is always a room for creativity and originality to take the brand to the next level. As a leader, working together, we can envision the goal and the opportunity and use creativity within the parameters of the company’s guidelines. It is challenging but also fun to work in such an environment. I also believe teamwork and leadership leads to perfection! I believe art direction or creative direction is not just simply related to developing a great creative, whereas I consider it as a responsibility to direct and guide the audience through the visual and the information that is being presented to them. As a leader sometime while doing so, you also must be critiquing other people or even be pushy to gain the correct approach. My concept in design and development is very simple - “Develop an idea that captures audience interest, influence their emotional and inspires them to take action!” I believe, do every job with the same enthusiasm as if it is very first piece of work and give the same and equal amount of attention to the detail as if it the last! This concept keeps every project fresh and creative. Creative ideas, creative thinking, innovative concepts, eye-catching visuals, and consistency in layout is what is always needed!     • CLIENT - Swarovski Canada Ltd.: Working with an international brand like Swarovski required experience and expertise in art direction, design, print, digital media, corporate branding, and implementing branding strategies. I worked on various advertising and marketing projects that required art direction, creative thinking, innovative concepts, expertise in design and a versatile experience in print as well digital media. I developed creatives for projects such as 1. Product Launch, 2. Advertising and Marketing activities, 3. New Store collaterals, 4. OOH Advertising, 5. Digital media, 6. social media, 7. Corporate branding and 8. Retail co-op advertising. Just for Swarovski, on an average I successfully completed 290+ projects per year. • CLIENT - Govt of Ontario: For quite a few years I have been designing various trade show graphics for the Government of Ontario – I & IT cluster. I developed various posters, brochures, flyers, booth activity like 6 feet x 6 feet scribble game board and booth presentation. A year later, at one point I remember, I was managing 3 different divisions with 3 different requirements all participating in the same trade show. During that year’s project I was stretched like a rubber band from all sides fulfilling all those 3 different requirements - posters, brochures, multi-media presentation and corporate video. • CLIENT - Koppert Canada: With Koppert I had the opportunity to developing various concepts and creatives related to the Agricultural and Farming industry. I have developied various concepts and creatives for posters, brochures, mailers, and trade show graphics related to the agricultural and farming industry. • CLIENT - Investors Group: A financial adviser from Investors Group conducts informative financial planning seminars during the lunchtime and he was looking for a creative concept that expresses this way of doing the business. For this client, I came out with a concept of presenting a beautiful lunch with a catchy title that expresses his way of doing business – “Lunch and Learn Financial Planning”. This concept and the visual was so powerful that they used it in their various promotions for few years. • CLIENT - Sanshi Collection: I worked on projects like brochures, poster, mailers and web development. With Sanshi, I also had the opportunity to conduct a photo session that involved challenging media such as gold, ceramic, crystal, wood and leather. • CLIENT - Suzzi Leather: Suzzi Leather Inc. imports various leather products like handbags, wallets, purse etc. For Suzzi I did the product photo shooting of their products (150) and developed posters, brochure, catalogue, trade show booth display and press ads. • OTHER PROJECTS: In these years, I have completed so many projects that required art direction, creative thinking, innovative concepts, creative graphics, eye-catching visuals Please visit my website https://www.twine.net/signin
