    uniE613 Homa's Phantom
Inspired by the mythical Homā Bird from Iranian legends, "Homā’s Phantom" envisions a surreal mansion soaring above the earth, embodying the essence of Homā through modular and digital designs. This project intricately weaves patterns reminiscent of Persian architecture into a labyrinthine digital space. Unlike traditional spatial navigation, it focuses on temporal navigation, immersing users in elements like windcatchers, alleys, and asymmetric arches. As a musician and sound designer, my role was to create an auditory landscape that enhances the introspective journey through this unique, interconnected maze.
    uniE613 Big Air With Go
Inspired by the radically new aesthetic of Nike’s Air Max 270 React, which features simple shapes and eye-catching colors typical of the Bauhaus movement, Big Air with GO interprets the radiating energy released by combining the Big Imagination of Air Max with the Go sensation of React Foam. Within just one month of preparation and 2.5 days of on-site production, we collaborated with a production agency, Nike, and Zalando to create an impressive 350m² experience. As a sound designer and musician, my role was to develop an auditory atmosphere that complemented this visually striking and dynamic installation, enhancing the overall immersive experience. uniE613 False Mirror (VR)
If future humans (or post-humans) ever live in completely virtual worlds, what would their lives look like? False Mirror is an open-ended, interactive virtual reality project that explores speculative futurism and new forms of inhabiting virtual space-times as post-humans. The project challenges us to create a virtual city and new life forms from the ground up, which shape and grow over time, addressing untapped problems that haven’t been imagined in real life. Since its inception in 2017, this ongoing research project has expanded floor by floor, crafting an infinite virtual city based on its creator’s inner space. The result is a unique experience that uses speculative design to imagine a possible future that’s continually growing and reshaping itself. As the sound designer and musician for False Mirror, my role is to develop the auditory landscape that complements the evolving virtual city, enhancing the immersive experience and supporting the exploration of this speculative future. uniE613 OP 235
In response to the "Op.12" performance at the Sir John Soane's Museum, "Op.235" is an immersive tactile-audio-visual performance happening in an "Other-space". Link: https://www.twine.net/signin
    uniE613 Pharus
Pharus is an interactive installation designed to highlight the pressing issue of climate change through visualizing the trajectory of the local climate over the past decades. In the installation’s debut at MUTEK AE in Dubai, the giant 16 feet monolith displays a gradually cluttering data-visualization by applying per capita CO2 emissions, annual CO2 emissions, and surface temperature anomalies from 1959 to 2021. Pharus’ interaction with the individual audience is a simple defense mechanism. As the viewer approaches the installation, the visualization of the data becomes more intense and chaotic, mirroring the growing urgency of the issue. Pharus makes a point of not just reminding us of a crisis, but rightfully pointing the finger, hoping to invert the collective numbness of our species. In creating this installation, the artist deliberately chose to keep the visuals minimal, uncluttered, and clear. Pharus is shy and humble, it is simply here on a mission to remind the passing citizens of an ongoing crisis. It wants the audience’s attention drawn to the data itself, not to flashy eye-catching visuals. Link: https://www.twine.net/signin
    uniE613 Leave No One Behind
Leave No One Behind is an audiovisual art installation born from the collaboration between the Iranian artist Amir B. Ash and the musicians Shahin Entezami and Saffronkeira. The work relates the history, culture and biodiversity of the Saline Conti Vecchi with video-sounds processing from the sounds and images source of the site. The audio and video elements representative of the place, acquired through field recording and video shooting with a drone, are the object of the creative reworking which, through the use of realistic audio and video reading codes, transports the viewer on a dreamlike journey transcending the conventional boundaries, capturing the imagination and creating an inclusive and accessible multi-sensory experience. displays a gradually cluttering data-visualization by applying per capita CO2 emissions, annual CO2 emissions, and surface temperature anomalies from 1959 to 2021. uniE613 Sacred Hill
The question of what is ‘real’ has been much discussed throughout history, and with the rise of virtual, augmented, and digital realities, it demands renewed attention. The question "What is reality?" has become more urgent, driven by curiosity and interest in an existence beyond physical bodies linked to an alternate state of mind. This moment allows us to break with existing belief and knowledge systems, traditionally determined by Western perspectives. What if we include knowledge systems such as magic, cult, or native beliefs? This forms the core of Sacred Hill, a multi-sensory installation combining virtual reality, performance, and scent to explore new forms of existence and alternate states of body and mind in a virtual space. The project investigates methods from myths, cults, natural drugs, and tarot to create a virtual space that bypasses the laws of physics, allowing human bodies and senses to explore correlations between space, body, perception, and alternate communication. Sacred Hill blurs the lines between the virtual and physical, incorporating scents reminiscent of rituals and belief systems, mixed with earthly elements and a newly designed artificial fragrance to support this alienating experience. In this world, a futuristic-looking costumed priestess performs a personal tarot reading, spreading a special scent to help participants reach an alternate state of mind. The final scene gradually leads participants deeper into digital reality, leaving their physical bodies behind and entering a virtual ritual. As the sound designer and musician for Sacred Hill, my role was to create the auditory elements that enhance this multi-sensory experience, supporting the exploration of new forms of existence and alternate realities. uniE613 Nerd Funk (VR)
In the current climate of the Internet, we have reached an irreversible state in our social life and the way we think and comprehend our reality. We are floating yet struggling to find ourselves in this situation. To investigate this phenomenon and allow others to explore it with us, we created a virtual identity called nerd_funk, a collective of artists on Instagram that follows a slice of contemporary digital culture. Through nerd_funk’s profile, users embark on a journey that archives moments and stories shared by others, leading them through an interactive experience based on Instagram stories. This journey confronts users with curated social media content, transforming their experience between chaos and order. By providing an alternate hyper-reality, we aim to compare and better understand our current existence in social media. This dynamic creates a kaleidoscopic portrait of the present, offering an alternative perspective on our reality and society. As the sound designer and musician for this project, my role was to craft the auditory elements that enhance the immersive, interactive experience of nerd_funk’s journey. uniE613 ECLIPSE (VR)
J.G. Ballard once said, “I would sum up my fear about the future in one word: boring.” He may have had a point if huge technology companies continue to exploit every exciting innovation for banal, commercial purposes. Eclipse offers an antidote: a virtual reality universe that explores fundamental, existential questions. In this universe, Alless and Lena move at different levels of consciousness, unable to see each other but able to find traces of each other's presence. By following and analyzing these traces, they can decode each other's thoughts and feelings. Two actors bring Alless and Lena to life in a live VR performance, offering a radical take on diversity: “the other” isn't a variation of ourselves but exists in an entirely different reality. An accompanying website acts as a manual, complementing the VR environment and generating the story through its undiscovered features. Link: https://www.twine.net/signin
