"Cila wants to pee. But so many obstacles are in the way. Cila can't hold it in anymore. What's going to happen?" "Tak Tahan Lagi! (Can't Hold It In!)" is a children's picture book I created for Let's Read Asia, The Asia Foundation's free online children's library. “Tak Tahan Lagi! (Can't Hold It In!)" encourages independence in self-care among young children. With a light and humorous approach, this book hopes that young readers can feel themselves and their daily lives reflected in the book.
    uniE621 The Golden Oyster
“Legends say the Golden Oyster is the most delicious in the world,” Otto’s parents told him as they were snacking on oysters one day. Otto immediately sets off in search of this delicious, fabled treat. He decides to ask some animals in the mangrove for directions, but they all responded very rudely; one even going far as saying that he “can keep on dreaming” because his goal is an impossible one. Otto is devastated. Will he still be able to find the Golden Oyster? This story is a means to remind readers that although the obstacles in the pursuit of our dreams may discourage us, we can always find the strength to face them, whether it be from other people or from within yourself. childrensbook picturebook kidlit illustration illustrator
uniE621 Snow White, A Bit Different Story
"Snow White: A Bit Different Story" is an interactive picture book about Snow White with five different endings, which give children the opportunity to make their own decisions and create their own story. childrensbook picturebook illustration kidlit
