Taylor Tookes is an emerging violinist from Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired by the ubiquity of music and its function as a universal language, Taylor uses her artistry to explore life sonically and transform spaces as a soulful, vulnerable, and virtuosic vessel of creativity. ​ As a versatile, genre-bending artist, Taylor indulges her musical passions as a performer, recording artist, producer, composer, and string arranger. Her engagements include performing solo and in ensembles like pit and chamber orchestras, and jazz and live bands in venues such as Rockwood Stage 1, Roulette NYC, Atlanta Symphony Hall, and Carnegie Hall. Taylor also finds joy in fashion, modeling in Fall 2022 New York Fashion Week. ​ An alumna of the Atlanta Symphony Talent Development Program, Taylor Tookes continued to study violin at the University of Michigan under the tutelage of Danielle Belen. Taylor recently collaborated on Kennedy Ryon's song "Fantasy". Taylor's passion for recording and producing has led to working with other artists including Amal Zenab, Jordan G. Welch, and Flwr Chyld.
