My name is Dave Maresca, and I am a 20-year video professional with a long history of experience as a video producer/editor, studio manager, podcaster and content creator - where I believe the strength in my talents can be most readily seen - as well as a 16-year tenure as a Video Producer, Video Director and Studio Manager at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) – a Not-for-Profit organization with locations in NYC, Washington DC, and Durham, NC – I believe I would be a strong creative asset to any project or organization. I am well-versed in both corporate and commercial video production, and have several years of experience in Video Production, Video Editing/Post-Production, Creative Direction, working with talent, conducting on and off-camera interviews, covering events like comic cons and film festivals, shooting and editing music videos, as well as expertise in all facets of social media. I am open to travel and relocation for the right opportunity. Movies were my first love and obsession. My childhood was spent fascinated with storytelling, captivated by visuals and the ability afforded to films to transport us away from reality for brief sojourns into the fantastic. My creative style has roots in the world of 80s/90s/Early 00s video magazines and cable stations like MTV, MuchMusic, as well as periodicals like Rolling Stone and Details - coupled with the modern sensibilities and trends of sites like Screen Rant and Entertainment Weekly, which often serves as a great bridge between the reboot/remake heavy landscape of today, and the origins and stylistic tones of the works being remade and rebooted.
