Tracy Kiryango is an award-winning Director of Photography based in London, UK. Her short documentary ‘Buddleia The Unchained Story,’ won the ‘Best Documentary’ award at the BAFTA accredited British Urban Film Festival 2022. She started her career in video journalism and fell in love with the art of visual storytelling. Tracy has spent over 10 years cultivating a naturalistic and nostalgic approach to her imagery. She always aims to serve the protagonists in her films, rather than overshadowing them with elaborate camera movements. Her directorial debut short film ‘Colour Blind,‘ won an award for ‘Best Actress’ at DBUFF Film Festival 2018, and was selected into four film festivals. This has made her a wonderful team player and communicator, who is keen on helping Director’s achieve their most authentic vision.
