Yiling Lu is a composer/producer for Film, TV, Games, and Interactive Media based in Boston, MA. She is currently studying Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music. Before studying at Berklee, she graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Although she initially pursued a different field, Yiling's passion for music remained strong. As a keyboard player in her church worship team and a fusion/rock band with friends, she explored various music genres and discovered the dynamic interaction between music and people in real life. Since beginning her studies at Berklee in 2021, Yiling has immersed herself in diverse genres, including Jazz, R&B, Electronic, and Contemporary Classical music. Her primary passion lies in blending these influences to create music for visual media. Additionally, Yiling has worked on short films from Emerson College and animations from Brown University. Above all else, Yiling strives to provide memorable and personalized music for every collaboration. She believes that the essence of scoring music is to resonate with the audience and tell compelling stories.
