I compose music that is interesting and unique. Most often, I am writing to a brief, so have been required to compose in many different styles. I have many years experience, and received lots of training. I have a PhD in Music (Composition, University of Melbourne) and a Masters in Music (Composition for the Screen, Royal College of Music). I have composed and produced the music for many films (lots of documentaries as well as short and feature-length) and TV. I have also composed music for the concert hall, for ensembles of all sizes (orchestra, big band,, standard chamber combinations through to soloist). I've arranged music for orchestras, big bands and contemporary ensembles. I also work as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. I lecture in Composition for Media, Arranging for Large Ensemble, and Music Technology in Composition (focusing on Game Music). During COVID, I converted my garage into a studio, where I record, and also rehearse with projects or bands I am in.
