My name is Alvise Andreotti and I am a composer and musician based in Gran Canaria. After finishing high school he moved to the United States, to Boston (Massachusetts), where he attended Berklee College of Music majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production. He studies modern guitar with Julien Kasper, Jim Kelly, Tomo Fujita, Jon Finn and Mick Goodrick. He attends master classes with: John Wilkins, Kurt Rosenwilken, Joe Satriani and Steve Morse. ​ In addition to the complete study of harmony and modern ear training, he honed his skills in contemporary arranging and composition under the direction of: Jimmy Kachulis-Composition Jerry Gates-Arrangement and orchestration. ​ In '97, for academic merit, he obtained a scholarship for having distinguished himself in the Composition course. Also in '97 he became a studio assistant on Professor Jerry Gates' recording sessions and under his direction completed his arranging studies. ​ While studying in the US, he also attended courses such as: World Music Ensemble with Jimmy Kachulis Film Scoring with Eric Reasoner Frame Drum Percussion with Jamie Haddad. ​ He spent his formative years working in recording studios, honing his craft and dedicating himself to scores and recordings by innovative composers and bands.…My name is Alvise Andreotti and I am a composer and musician based in Gran Canaria.
