    paper Breaking The Habit

Breaking the habit is a song that was dedicated to a journey in therapy. I wrote this song, knowing that I kept getting into relationships where my heart was just breaking and all I truly wanted to be was loved. I also of course, live life and started to realize that some of my habits were not necessarily healthy, not only for myself before a relationship, and make fun of something that was extremely therapeutic for me and my producer definitely brought it to life with flavors and colors that supported the theme of the song.

    paper Beautiful View

    Artist Intent:
Beautiful View is a song of self sacrifice and self preservation. It is a journey of a individual that was leaving a toxic situation, but still yearned for the relationship to work at the end of the song the individual did find there is still something to be inspired by and hopeful. This song was a self declaration of how I got away from a narcissistic relationship. Beautiful day has a modern sound that throws back to early 1990s for country with a flare of pop. The piano speaks volumes for what the singer is experiencing as well as clean and crisp production to show off the vulnerability of the singer.

    paper All Banged Up

    Artist Intent

Making a good time out of a bad one! This is a feel good classic! An all funky country, fun story song meets party song. If you have ever been “All Banged Up” over someone, or you’ve had a run of bad luck with anything, if you’ve ever had a hangover or a rough time and decide that it’s more fun to go through it with a buddy- then this song is for you! Written from a phrase that an ex used to say, “You got me all banged up, girl.” Instead of “Let’s go girls” it’s “Let’s go get banged up.”

    paper Tall Boy

    Artist Intent

“This song is meant to be a laid back, summer to fall relaxing country song, with a subgenera of pop. This song as written and performed by Sarah Ashley and Amy Jo is a clever and catchy tune. It has a double meaning at times of “Tall Boy” being both a large drink, as well as a tall, handsome guy. Performed as a collaboration by two solo artists. “
