I'm a freelance American cartoonist with over 30 years of pen-and-ink experience in physical printed matter; newsprint, magazine, pamphlet and zine. I am also an experienced creator of web content (blogs, animation, games, video), and have maintained several proprietary entertainment websites since the turn of the century. I have produced an entire catalog of short-form animations, and a feature-length animated movie, which won Best Animated Feature at the 2008 Atlanta Underground Film Festival. I have self-published my own underground comic books since the early 1990's, and authored three different physical-newsprint comic strips, one of which continued for just under two decades until earlier this year, when the publication ceased printing. I have produced, and designed album art for, something like twenty micro-label music albums, and I have designed posters and brochures for clubs. I have a background in small theatre and performance arts, and I started drawing when I was 2. I've drawn caricatures of people both on the street and while playing the killer in a live murder mystery. I've sculpted somewhere in the neighborhood of 750 collectible miniature creatures that have sold out of Art-O-Mat machines around the world. I have maintained a visible and consistent public presence on the web for as long as I can remember. I have drawn and studied comic strips for twice as long. **Employment and project experience** Cartoonist, "Bands I Useta Like" comic strip, Stomp & Stammer magazine 2003 - 2021 Staff editorial cartoonist, Bluffton Today November 1998 - March 2024 Producer and animator, "John's Arm: Armageddon" feature-length animated movie November 2005 - August 2008 Supplemental comic artist, Garbage Pail Kids All New Series, Topps 2003 Editorial cartoonist, Creative Loafing 1994 - 1996 Cartoonist, "Lemmings" comic strip, The Georgia Guardian 1991 - 1996
