uniE621 FÓLKLORE Sancerre branding and logo
The Request and Challenges FÓLKLORE is a premium boutique hotel located in Sancerre, offering luxurious suites and a “casse-croûte” space where local products delight food lovers. Jérémy and Sami, the founders, approached me with a “simple” request: to revamp their branding by revisiting their historical logo. However, the task wasn’t as straightforward as it seemed. The logo needed to align with their upscale ambitions, unite two distinct services under a premium identity, and convey a strong, epicurean storytelling element reflecting the richness of their establishment. My Approach After several meetings and thorough research, a clearer vision of the space emerged. The artistic direction began to take shape, with the epicurean spirit becoming the cornerstone of the brand’s storytelling. My focus shifted to translating this concept visually. The logo had to strike a balance between readability and intricate detailing, incorporating subtle nods to the establishment's character. Key design elements include: The Toile de Jouy: Traditionally a monochrome printed cotton fabric, it serves as the unifying thread, emphasizing the location’s historical richness. Ovoid Mirrors: Inspired by the mirrors in the suites, concentric ovals bring vertical and horizontal symmetry to the logo. The Ó Accent: Used as a metaphorical key, it symbolizes access to a world of fine gastronomy, cultural experiences, and enriching discoveries. Vineyard Motifs: Reflecting Sancerre’s heritage, vine leaves and grape clusters frame the composition, celebrating the region's winemaking history. The Sparrow: A symbol of lightness, representing the guests’ journey as they flit from one memorable experience to the next. Typography: A sleek, condensed sans-serif font bridges the gap between heritage and modernity. The premium aesthetic is further enhanced by a carefully curated palette of deep green and warm caramel tones. The logo adapts seamlessly across various formats—vertical, horizontal, with or without a tagline—allowing flexibility for both the hotel and restaurant. Elements from the Toile de Jouy can be used independently to enrich communication materials. Results The logo and broader visual identity were designed for versatility across digital and print mediums. This adaptability ensures that FÓLKLORE’s branding communicates its story effectively in any context. Client Testimonials ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ "When collaboration exceeds expectations 💯. uniE621 Web Studio Neuf Cinq branding and logo
The Request and Challenges "Neuf Cinq? What’s that?" Neuf Cinq is a brand-new web studio founded by Jordan Mahe, aiming high right from the start! Jordan approached me with a clear request: to design a bold, colorful visual identity that captures the essence of 1995—a year rich in references to the burgeoning web culture of the time. The branding had to incorporate elements of the pop culture from those vibrant years. It was an exciting challenge that I embraced with enthusiasm! My Approach The visual identity revolves around the logo, a pattern of colorful lines, and retro, energetic illustrations. The goal was to create a rich and highly recognizable universe with endless creative possibilities. The logo features a strong monogram designed for maximum impact. Its bold, perspective-driven design introduces dynamic leading lines symbolizing a forward-looking approach. The interplay between the "9" and "5" creates a sense of depth, while the use of negative space ensures a unique and striking visual. The entire identity is crafted to be “fluid,” adaptable to any context. Colors can be switched, and the line patterns rearranged to create something fresh and original every time. The result is a fun, vibrant identity with a retro touch that stands out and leaves a lasting impression. Client Testimonial ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ "Bertrand truly understood my vision and the vibe I wanted for my visual identity! He is attentive, asks the right questions, and knows exactly how to guide the process toward the desired outcome. See you soon for more projects! ✌️" — Jordan Mahe
uniE621 Tam&Nuts – Spreadable Delight branding and logo
The Request and Challenges Mona and Imad, founders of Tam&Nuts, contacted me with an exciting and innovative idea: revolutionizing spreads by replacing sugar with date paste while keeping the beloved taste and creaminess intact. Healthy, indulgent, and made with premium ingredients, their products immediately piqued my interest (I love my job!). However, the spreads market is fiercely competitive, filled with established giants and artisanal brands, making it hard to stand out. Their main challenge: how to differentiate themselves? They needed a strong, cohesive identity that highlighted their sugar-free spreads' uniqueness and premium quality. It also had to captivate consumers and remain accessible—essential in a market where design heavily influences buying decisions. My Approach To meet this challenge, I immersed myself in the spreads market. I analyzed supermarket shelves, studied labels, and identified the prevailing design trends. (No, I didn’t taste them all… 🤣) It became clear that Tam&Nuts needed to combine elegance and modernity while breaking away from the often austere look of “healthy” products. Together with Mona and Imad, we established a premium positioning aligned with their exceptional ingredients and commitment to healthy indulgence. I developed a sleek, refined visual identity where every detail told their story. The logo, inspired by a date’s shape, merges simplicity and elegance, emphasizing their key ingredient. Handwritten typography added a personal, artisanal touch, reflecting their small-scale production. The tagline “Indulgence, without the sugar!” captured their unique promise perfectly. For colors, I chose a rich, inviting palette: deep chocolate paired with warm cream, complemented by subtle contrasts. Signature patterns and hand-drawn illustrations differentiated each product and highlighted the handmade aspect. The labels, central to the design, were crafted to be elegant, balanced, and instantly eye-catching. The Result A product that looks irresistible even before the jar is opened! (And yes, I tried it—it’s absolutely amazing!) Client Testimonial ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ "Bertrand showed incredible adaptability and creativity on this major project, from designing our visual identity and packaging (labels, displays) to a photo shoot and video montage (a lovely bonus!). It was a pleasure working with him. We especially appreciated his project management and innovative ideas. Highly recommended for his friendliness! Wishing him continued success!" — Mona Bove logo photo graphicdesigner illustrator
