I was hired to specifically develop a plugin that allows the editor to create a popup survey using a custom Gutenberg block that appears on the front-end of the site. The editor can choose the specific pages it appears on, how it is triggered, the form options that user can choose from along with the color theme to match site’s all via a custom interface. Using PHP and the WordPress API to create custom REST endpoints, pull the data and prepare it for use for backend and front-end use. ES6 is used for the front-end to structure and trigger the modal window injecting the data to display within it. The submitted data is then sent to an endpoint that stores the result in the WordPress database.
