This dataset contains the rate of violent crime (crimes per 1,000 population) for California, its regions, counties, cities, and towns. Crime and population data are from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Uniform Crime Reports.

Rates above the city/town level include data from the city, university, college, county, state, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies. The table is part of a series of indicators in the Healthy Communities Data and Indicators Project of the Office of Health Equity.

This dataset includes all valid felony, misdemeanor, and violation crimes reported to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) for all complete quarters until 2019. The dataset size is 69.94 MB.

Crime in England and Wales Dataset

The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) dataset shows breakdowns of victimization over time and by various demographic characteristics. Please note the methodology by which the CSEW calculates its incidents of crime changed in December 2018.

Incident numbers and rates published in the Annual Trend and Demographic Tables prior to the year ending September 2018 dataset are not comparable with those currently published.

Data from the Telephone-operated Crime Survey for England and Wales (TCSEW) showing victimization for the year ending March 2022 by various demographic characteristics are also presented in this dataset.

Crime in major metropolitan areas, such as London, occurs in distinct patterns. This data covers the number of criminal reports by month, LSOA borough, and major/minor category from Jan 2008-Dec to 2016. 13M rows containing counts of criminal reports by month, LSOA borough, and major/minor category.
