Games from the Sega, NES, N64, PC and Xbox consoles; Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy flicks like Silver Bullet, The Princess Bride, Willow, Legend and everything John Carpenter; and bands from every genre available. His musical journey began at age 11 when he first picked up the guitar, which he has since never put down. Approximately a year later, Michael had already begun composing songs. As time went on, while practicing his technique several hours each day and searching for resources, Michael's awareness of the music scene grew. After being influenced by many different bands, artists and movie/game soundtracks, his compositions soared in all directions. It was then that Michael knew he wanted to pursue composing, designing sounds and producing his compositions, alongside a commitment to playing. Michael's career began when he was 18 after composing and self-producing an instrumental theme for a short Spaghetti Western film that was submitted to the Seattle film festival. He went on to do other work such as composing a wedding processional and performing at other weddings. Having tasted success along with a strong desire to pursue his dream, Michael was accepted at Berklee College of Music Online for Composition in TV/Film and Games. Shortly after graduating with the highest honors, he earned a scholarship award into film composer Hummie Mann's Master of Music in Film Scoring program. Michael has been working on projects such as the major production game by Academy of Interactive Entertainment Seattle, Tenebrous (2023, PC); Soaring Pixel Game's Breakwaters, Director Kit Wilson's Award winning short film DRIPS (2024), and highly anticipated Sci-Fi Horror short Sequoia (Summer 2024). Continuously composing and playing his guitar, Michael believes that there is always more to learn and discover. In his free time, he is playing games, watching the latest show on Netflix or asking his ''Amazon Alexa" questions that no one cares about... _Website not available.
