Hello, my name is Bobby Steele and I’m a Producer/Designer/Programmer who specializes in Video Games, but can also do a bit of Web Development as well.

I have been in the video game industry for over 10 years. Most of that time was as a Producer, but I spent part of that time as a designer, teacher, and a programmer as well. I have worked with a Jira-like project management tool called Assembla, and for programming, I know C++, C#, PHP, and LUA. I have a working knowledge of both the Unity and Unreal engines, so it wouldn’t take me too long to get ramped up to either of those. Most recently I’ve been working on porting my card game over to Unreal so I can learn it more.

Bobby Steele was a solid producer that bridged the barbed wire fence between management and artists. And he did it seemingly effortlessly. Very approachable but no non-sense when deadlines or his responsibilities were concerned. A great mixture of professional and friend.

Bobby is a great producer to work with. When our paths crossed the project was in rough waters. Yet Bobby stayed calm all the way through. And while it would have been easy to succumb to wishful thinking he did his best to stay realistic and worked happily within the confines of the project. Bobby pulled long hours and stuck around when other team members needed to stay late just in case there was a way for him to help out. One such way was scripting. To all our surprise Bobby ended up adding various features and fixing numerous bugs like no other producer I have ever worked with.

Bobby is one of the best producers I have ever worked with. He sets realistic goals by taking time lines set by upper management, challenging project lead's initial time estimates, and finding a balance that both works with the production schedule and is still realistic within the bounds of development. Bobby focuses on realistic goals. He realizes that setting absurd deadlines, forcing the entire development team to works ridiculous hours, and then playing a…
