Caleb Martin-Rosenthal is a composer and songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. He writes songs and scores for film, podcasts, theater & musical theater, pop artists, advertising, and more.
A versatile collaborator, Caleb has scored films and written for multi-media projects, including ELECTRIC GARDEN for PBS, MY WILD, a recent collaboration with REI Co-Op, and GOODBYE SAM, which won Best Short at the Toronto LGBTQ Film Festival. As a songwriter, his work has garnered millions of streams across platforms and earned even more impressions on social media, including collaborations with Hello Fresh, Recess Therapy, and Amazon’s Celebrity Substitute.
Caleb also writes, produces, and tours with pop outfit BOYS GO TO JUPITER, a recent feature on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Pop. He has performed across NYC at notable venues such as Webster Hall, Mercury Lounge, Knitting Factory, and Theatre Row, and has toured with Confidential Records.
Other recent projects include a chamber concerto for strings, piano, and electronics, an original song cycle for young audiences, and multiple scores for off-broadway theatre.
Whether a song, a score, or something in between, Caleb’s work is intimate, joyful, and theatrical and was once (very kindly) described by Cambridge Day as “free-spirited […] a whirlwind of sound, color, and emotion.” He holds a BA in Contemporary Composition, Film, and Writing from Tufts University.
