uniE621 LA Beauty Med Spa Website Design- www.carolinevickersdesign.com/la-beauty-website-design
La Beauty Skin Center recently underwent a re-brand in which they’ve elevated and expanded upon their previous brand identity with a new logo design, new brand guide and an upcoming additional location. This new brand identity will be conveyed and integrated across all elements of the brand, including their signage, physical locations, client communications, printed materials, marketing campaigns, and social media. A significant and essential part of this integration is the website, as it required a full re-organization and re-design in order to align with the upgraded brand identity. Creative Brief: To create an entirely new website design that consist of wireframes for 17+ individual web pages for both desktop and mobile devices. The new design needs to be cohesive and representative of the updated brand identity, while remaining innovative and expanding upon these concepts. The challenge was to execute this project in five weeks, with the goal of elevating the business as a whole by leveraging their most vital client communication touchpoint, their website. graphicdesigner branding webdesigner designer
    uniE621 Voyage - www.carolinevickersdesign.com/voyage-editorial-design
Voyage is a 35mm Film Photography Journal with a heavy focus on Editorial Design, typography, imagery and layout. This publication celebrates film photography, as each photo was selected based on my personal experiences in each destination / landscape. Unique typography and typesetting layouts, the content of which educate the reader, have been utilized in order to highlight this curated imagery. The goal of this journal is to not only to educate the reader on how to harness the capabilities of film photography, but to serve an inspiration through aesthetically pleasing visual communications. Creative Brief : To design a brand identity for a print publication of your creation / choice. I chose to advance this project by creating a front cover, spine and back cover design as well as several inside spreads. Appeal to my target audience through editorial, innovative, striking, bold design that fulfills a market demand by evoking a unique sentiment in the reader while conveying the brand identity concisely and effectively. graphicdesigner branding illustrator designer logo photo
    uniE621 Venture - www.carolinevickersdesign.com/venture-editorial-design
Venture is an quarterly issued Editorial Publication that focuses on Ecotourism & Sustainable Travel. The goal of this design is to bridge the gap between editorial design and traditional educational journals in order to amplify and project the significant scientific findings, tips and information to a fresh audience. Venture aims to harness the power of effective, simple, aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly visual communication in order to showcase ecotourism. Creative Brief: Design an educational journal or magazine on the topic of your choice that appeals to your target demographic. The topic I selected was ecotourism, as I find a lot of inspiration from European destination photography. The gap in visual communication practices between editorial design focused publications and educational journals is stark, and in order to appeal to my target demographic, I wanted to bridge this gap. By creating an educational journal that utilizes unique typography, negative space, imagery emphasis, and layouts, I was able to achieve a more compelling visual experience that appeals to a younger, larger demographic. graphicdesigner logo branding illustrator designer
    uniE621 Speed- www.carolinevickersdesign.com/speed-editorial-design
The majority of the advertisements we see daily are for new cars, yet vintage cars and the restoration of cars are a huge financial market. Vintage cars are an extremely popular subject for photographers, particularly those who prefer to shoot with film. As a personal fan of film photography, I’ve always enjoyed the aesthetic of vintage cars and feel as though they are underutilized in mainstream advertising. Regardless of if the product appeals to a large audience, it enhances a brand story and provides opportunity to stand apart from competition in an oversaturated market. This is why I created Speed, a magazine dedicated to vintage cars captured through the lens of film photographers. Creative Brief:To create a publication of your choice, develop a brand identity for the publication that defines a masthead / logo, color palette, imagery and typography. Then, create several editions volumes of this publication, including front cover, spine, and back cover designs for each. To expand the project further, design an inside article or spread that advances the brand identity and compliments the cover designs.
    uniE621 Typography Classifications Posters- www.carolinevickersdesign.com/typography-poster-series-design
This Type classification poster series serves as an infographic that explores and defines the Vox System Typography Classifications through examples. The bold, dynamic, structured layout of this series was inspired by traditional Swiss design. The typefaces were selected as prime representations of their respective categories while also exemplifying the complimentary nature of the combination between differing categories. Creative Brief: A widely accepted classification system for typefaces is the vox system, which characterized typefaces into categories based on form differences and chronology. Create a striking, user-friendly type classification poster series that serves as an infographic exploration of the vox system categories, reflects the typographic landscape and provides background on the typeface and its classification. photo graphicdesigner illustrator designer printdesign posterdesign creativedirection branddesign
    uniE621 NIKE DUNKS CAMPAIGN- www.carolinevickersdesign.com/nike
Nike is one of the largest, most successful clothing brands and their marketing strategies and previous ad campaigns have been some of the most influential in history. With the new product release of the Nike Dunk’s in vintage aged navy, I created a photo realistic illustration of the product that I then utilized across a variety of different marketing mediums (billboard, poster and social media ad). The central goal of this campaign was to embody a similar advertising aesthetic to Nike in the 1990’s, in order to mimic how this new product version is modeled after their most popular shoe during this era. The Creative Brief: To create a photo-realistic product illustration using Adobe Illustrator that showcases a product of your choice. Following this illustration, utilize this asset in a marketing campaign to create both print and digital advertisements. I chose to take this project a step further by including a video animation social media advertisement utilizing the illustration. photo graphicdesigner illustrator designer advertising adcampaign

I created Clean Care in order to make products that are natural and free of chemicals accessible and easy to purchase, while simultaneously educating our customers on the benefits of using clean products. Clean care is a chic, elegant, trendy, user-friendly solution to this problem of toxic beauty products. Creative Brief: To create a visual identity package that includes a logomark, logotype, multiple logo variations, color palette, typefaces & typography guide for a brand of your choice, either pre-existing or personally conceptualized. To expand upon this brand identity, design print and digital marketing materials, a corporate stationary package, website and app wireframe designs and packaging.
