I’m Clàudia, a composer and sound designer with 6+ years of experience crafting immersive audio for media. My projects have garnered international acclaim, including an Academy Award 2025 qualified film and a Goya 2025 pre-nomination. A classically trained composer, violinist, and synthesizer enthusiast, I love working on projects that blur the frontier between music and sound design, thinking of sound as music, and music as sound.

uniE613 10+ Awards, 50+ Film Festivals - Short Film - "Water and More Water"
The goal of this project was to navigate the fine line between music and sound design, using sound effects limited to foley recordings of Super 8 film being handled and developed. I achieved this through high-quality foley recordings, creative sound design techniques, and heavy use of effects, while also composing the music. The sound design and music were treated as symbolic of the narrative and visuals. The film was showcased in over 40 festivals and won international awards, including Critics' Award at Catania Film Festival and Best Experimental at FICU Lanterna. https://vimeo.com/503872810

The goal of this project was to create realistic and intimate sound design to accompany the protagonist’s personal journey, with music that matched the emotional development and complexity of the film. I achieved this through high-quality foley recordings, precise sound design, and careful mixing. Extensive communication with the director allowed me to craft a fitting original score. The film has been showcased in over a dozen festivals, winning awards such as Best Documentary Short Film at the Pennine Film Festival and a Special Mention at the 3rd Matiff Matera International Film Festival https://vimeo.com/754416214

The aim of this project was to preserve the energy and magic of these live performances. These recordings often came with challenges, including suboptimal microphones and background noise all of which required careful attention to ensure the final product reflected the true essence of the concerts. Now available on YouTube (more soon!), allowing audiences to relive the energy and magic of these live performances. The final mixes and masters give listeners the opportunity to experience the full impact of these unforgettable events, despite the challenges of the original recordings. https://youtu.be/ZGN-av3GN7I
