Hello! I am a fine artist and graphic designer hailing from the heart of the Pacific Northwest. One of my favorite things about the creative process is getting the opportunity to puzzle together elements to make something exciting, engaging, and new. Whenever I get a new client, my mind immediately floods with ideas I am excited to try, and I am so eager to see their reactions to the finished work. Having recently graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Art and Graphic Design, I am relatively new to the professional world and have lots of fresh insight to offer. Despite my newness, I have already pleased many clients with my whimsical view of the world and I am eager to continue to do so. Since 2016, I have actively taken on commissions for the Scouts BSA's Pacific Harbors Council on a need-to-need basis and I have just finished a year-long position as the Head Graphic Designer for Whitworth University's yearbook, in which I worked closely with a professional team. One of my pieces was also chosen to be permanently exhibited in the city of Puyallup as a wrap on a traffic box in an effort to increase artistic beauty in the city and to decrease acts of vandalism and graffiti. My fine art has also been exhibited three times since 2022 and has earned me grants and awards. My main specialties include: - Logos & icons - Book jacket design - Book design - Print design - Brand design - Patterns - Fine art - Digital art & illustration Expertise: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, written and verbal communication, photo editing, design, fine art, drawing, book design, book jacket design, print design, logo design, brand design, pattern design, Procreate Application, typography, American Sign Language, problem solving, attention to detail, active listening, delegation, time management, flexibility, creativity If you are interested in seeing my creative work, you can go to _Website not available. uniE621 "Webelos Woods/AOL Adventures" Patch & Logo Design
A local Scouting America council reached out and asked me to create a design that could be used as a logo to promote a camp that they were hosting, as well as able to be used as a commemorative patch for scouts and parents who attended the camp. Using colors from the council's first advertisement for the event for my color palette and creating camp-themed illustrations, I made this sleek and fun design to be used in these ways. uniE621 "Awesome Axolotls" Patch Designs pt. 2
A local Arrow of Light scout group with Scouting America commissioned me to make two patch designs, one to be used as the scouts' patrol patches and another to be given to the scouts when they graduate from Cub Scouts to their new Troops. The scouts chose the patrol name "Awesome Axolotls," which I used to guide the illustrations I made for the finished designs. Following Scouting America's requirements for patrol patches and utilizing input from the kids, I was able to design both patches to be something fun that these scouts and future ones can enjoy!
