I have been composing original pieces for a number of years now, starting with my own band that I formed when I was 16. This led to a love of music theory which has in turn led to an incredible fascination with what makes music work and how things can be arranged and layered on top of each other. I now work in composing orchestral arrangements. I studied at Glasgow Clyde College under Alan Craig and Moira Harris, who have been involved first hand in the music industry as a whole as well as with orchestral performance and composition. In my time at college I have done my best to absorb everything I can from their expertise, which I think has shown in my academic record at the college. I still play music for my own enjoyment and write for the same band I formed at 16, having now played in venues around Glasgow such as The Classic Grand, and King Tut's. I also started teaching guitar privately. I have worked mainly with younger kids however have taught and am open to teaching all ages.
