"Myths of Pirates," was a digital story made by me about a Greek pirate named Ames Rosenburgh from Europe, who was heavily influenced by culture during the 14th century. A creative story about a pirate that washed up on shore of America after capsizing, escaping captivity and eventually making his mark in the world. Below is the journal entry from the story told that helps depict the storyline.

"It is amazing how beautiful the shores of Europe looked at night. The smell of cooked beef and the cheerful gathering of people drinking wine and the smell of charring wood from the harbor tabard. I miss seeing Athens, Greece and eating fresh warm baked bread seemed so much more pleasant than lying on this cold hard stone floor. Every night the rats can be heard creeping about making their way from cell to cell, and some of them are brave enough to slip up beneath your bed covers and lie waste upon a sailors face. Let alone steal your dry bread off of your plate. The guards are not aware of my plan to escape I wonder how many men may I have to slay to keep my sails flapping in the wind. The taste of blood would hurt my feelings, but I see no other choice but to commit to my everlasting goal of sailing the seas. My feet hurt from never taking off my boots, they have been turned into leather and have become quite chafe because of moisture and temperature changes from my boots being on. My face still hurts from the never being so angry law men, the sweat dripping down my face makes the wound burn as it passes over the surface of my skin. All I see is the past and my last mistake, I swear to the day I die that will never spend too much time frolicking women.
