Born in Barcelona in 1970. In 1991 creates DDT Special Effects, which leads him to work in over 150 shootings for commercials and feature films as SFX SUPERVISOR & DESIGNER for more than 8 years. His former company won an Oscar Academy Award for Guillermo del Toro’s Pan's Labyrinth.  Directs his first short film in 1996, DOCTOR CURRY, nominated at more than 30 international festivals, awarded at the CINEMA JOVE Festival of Valencia with the International CANAL+ Award, Silver award at Montreal FANTASIA Film Festival, and Best Short Film at the Chicago International Film Fest.  His director career begins in 1995 shooting music videos with some of the most important Latin artists as Miguel Bosé, La Mala Rodriguez, Christina Rosenvinge, Luz Casal, Carlos Santana, Pablo Lopez or Alejandro Sanz, between many others. His music video works all together got more than 30 million views only at Youtube so far. In 1997 he develops an ambitious fantasy genre feature film, FIERAS, to be produced by SOGECINE. Also over the following years several of his scripts are acquired and developed by Spanish production companies as MEDIAPRO, FILMAX, DEAPLANETA, or more recently NOSTROMO PICTURES and APACHES ENT. In parallel of those early fiction projects his career as commercial director keeps growing until finally becoming his main activity, often with the presence of VFX and CGI elements as key points in his body of work. David has actually acted himself as VFX Supervisor on several of his own directing projects, becoming usual for him to be involved into the post-production process from the initial creative design stages to the delivery of the final result. That strong connection with the VFX and CGI works has not been only maintained, but even enhanced progressively throughout his career until today. David has also collaborated over the years with several international CGI and VFX companies such as MIKROS in Paris, PLATIGE IMAGE in Warsaw or FRAMEBREED in Bucharest. Since the late 90’s David has directed hundreds of commercial jobs including several worldwide campaigns for brands as Sony Playstation, Coca Cola, Pepsico, Toyota, Volswagen, Canal+, Cadbury, T-Mobile, Telefónica, Carlsberg, Mitsubishi, Telmex, Sony-Ericsson, Banco Santander or P&G, among many others big companies. His works have been also awarded at different advertising festivals, being some of his latest recognitions the 2017 Pantalla de Cristal Awards in Mexico to Best Director and Best Commercial for his Macronet Infinitum cam His projects have been produced at diverse countries such as England, Italy, India, Mexico, Argentina, Qatar, Malaysia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Portugal, Dubai, South Africa, Chile, Scotland, Germany, Thailand, Russia, the US and of course Spain.
