My portfolio: danadarr.design
I grew up coloring rocks and selling them to the neighborhood, but now I design digital products.
With my rock coloring business behind me, my craft has expanded to numerous industries. Exploring these industries has pushed me to become the UX strategist I am today. It allowed me to flex my problem-solving muscles to create visual impact and seamless interactions built around the user.
Examples of where my knack for product strategy, interaction, and visual design prospered:
- Making research-led decisions for complex manufacturing processes for major health science companies such as Pfizer, Samsung, and Wuxi Biologics with the SaaS-driven MES company MasterControl.
- Rebranding and strategically improving the two-sided gig marketplace to boost paid users for the startup Busy Bees Babysitting.
- Connecting tutors and students through improved onboarding and dashboard experiences to reduce drop-offs on the EdTech platform Learn To Be.
- Gamifying a sports-betting mobile app to completely refresh the entire experience with Madprops.
- Combining insurance shopping flows for Mylo’s desktop and mobile insurance shopping experiences.
- Tracking and creating a community around retail shopping for a mobile app while working with Dug Dug Studios and Pretzel.
When I’m not wearing my work pants, I’m on a mission to create and support a community of designers who are career changers or from non-traditional backgrounds and want to develop their careers, grow their presence online, and achieve independence and autonomy.
