Lizzy de Lise is an interdisciplinary, gender queer, internationally touring artist. Their band Lizdelise is the 2024 recipient of the Recording Fund grant. They have been writing under this name since 2015. They have supported Another Michael and Worriers on recent tours. Lizzy composes and performs music for dance, theater, podcast, and film. Lizzy’s work has been featured on NPR’s Invisibilia, PBS, and at the Smithsonian Hirshorn. They are a company musician and composer with David Dorfman Dance, whose new work premiers fall 2024 at Irondale in Brooklyn, NY. Lizzy has performed with Yara Travieso since 2016, at venues including Joe's Pub, Lincoln Center, BRIC, and Chelsea Factory. They have toured as lead guitarist with Canadian band, Housewife, most recently on their tour opening for Paulo Nutini.
