Years before my hiring, they had used an outside agency to create their brand identity and style guide. The CMO was unhappy with several of the standards they set (namely fonts and color usage), and had stopped following them. From their input, I was able to solidify the standards and build a style guide that modernized their brand identity. Their last update of this asset took place in 2019, well before my arrival. However, in light of the updates being made to the brand, my team and I decided the presentation template would receive a corresponding revamp. The process was meticulous and produced a template that was 128 slides long based on the premade layouts, copy-and-pastable icons, and an instructional index. Two versions – a full version and a skeleton version – were made available for use company-wide. As we moved into Q4, the Marketing Team had begun looking at reutilizing several materials such as interviews as part of a targeted LinkedIn campaign to drive leads for the Sales Team. As the interview between Jason and Jessie had proven informative, it was chosen to be repurposed into an asset to drive traffic from LinkedIn to our site and leads to our Hubspot contacts. Out of the final 12 designs, 6 were designed by me, while the remaining 6 were handled by another…In late 2018, I began work on the Journal Friends® toy line at the behest of my employer. Journal Friends® are plush toy journals that are styled to look like various characters based on animals. Out of the final 12 designs, 6 were designed by me, while the remaining 6 were handled by another designer. I did however, set up the tech packs that went to the factories producing all 12. Additionally, the brand logo, packaging, character illustrations, and character backstories (body copy featured on the back of the package) were all created by me. These products made their debut at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market®, held at the Americasmart in July of 2019.
