I'm a international tattoo designer, illustrator and self taught tattoo artist based in the United Kingdom. I became fascinated with tattoos when I was very young, and when I decided that I wanted to go into the tattoo industry, I had this dream of designing my own unique tattoos for my customers rather than tattooing the same flash designs that everyone else seemed to have. My tattoo designer career started while I was in university doing an illustration degree. I sent a portfolio of artwork to website called 'Tattoodo', a website created by tattoo artist Ami James that was meant to encourage customised tattoo design work. I worked at this company until it closed the design aspect in 2018 and transformed into a different type of website. I also started working at a website called 'Custom Tattoo Design CA' where I designed tattoos for customers internationally for more than 7 years. Alongside doing tattoo design work, I also worked in Tattoo Studios doing tattoos for my clients and I completed my Masters Degree in Illustration. I love doing girly tattoo designs that involve jewels, doing designs with animals and creating memorial tattoo designs. What is most important to me is that the customer has a design that they absolutely love, that they’re not going to regret and that they are proud to wear. It is very important to me to work closely with the customer to create this design so that they feel like they are involved in the process, so it becomes kind of like a collaboration, and I am prepared to go as far as I need to go to ensure that the customer has the absolute perfect design. Altogether, I have been designing tattoos for my customers all over the world for just over nine years, and have designed artwork to go on all places on the body. As well as just designing tattoos, I also have extensive knowledge as a tattoo artist as to how much detail you would be able to fit in specific places, and how the design needs to be created so that it fits where the client requires it to go. I even offer graphic overlays to my customers so they have the opportunity to see what the tattoo should look like before they have it done. I love doing my job, I love working with other people!
