Objective: This project aims to develop a mobile app that enhances users’ lives through habit-building while deepening understanding of inclusion and accessibility. Using a design thinking approach, it emphasizes empathetic user research, habit-forming design, optional wearables integration, and compelling storytelling. Key deliverables include a video presentation, design documentation, and a prototype showcasing the user-centric, iterative design process. The project also explores intersectionality to better understand user priorities and applies inclusive design principles to address diverse needs.
Process:
• Brainstorm a mobile application that builds habits while also researching competitor apps in Miro.
• Created branding of application with style tile and brand guidelines in Adobe Illustrator.
• Created inclusive and diverse user personas to guide design decisions based on target audience needs with
Adobe Illustrator.
• Developed a application layout using Adobe XD, starting with a site map, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Developed accessibility features for 3 different user needs (limited mobility, leanguage barrier, and memory)
• User tested application to see intuitive nature of application and get user feedback
