Dylan Hoffinger (AEA) is an award-winning, triple-threat artistic force to be reckoned with, having performed all over Southern California, in Massachusetts, and Chicago, where he played Gen. Charles Lee in HAMILTON: An American Musical.
He is a recipient of the Old Globe Honor for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theatre, the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Young Artist, and the StageSceneLA Award for Best Performance by a Lead Actor for his portrayal of Horace Poore in Anita Bryant Died For Your Sins @ Diversionary Theatre, where he also played DJ in the world premiere musical, Harmony, Kansas.
San Diegan’s may also remember Dylan from when he played Mr. Mistoffelees in CATS @ San Diego Musical Theatre, Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors @ San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, Moritz Stiefel in Spring Awakening @ American Rose Theatre, or either of his ensemble performances in Hairspray and The Who’s TOMMY @ San Diego REP. Dylan has also had the privilege to be in Parade @ Cygnet Theatre Company, The Odyssey: A Musical Experience @ The Old Globe, and Trevor @ The Playwrights Project.
Other SoCal theatre includes Baby John in West Side Story @ Musical Theatre West, American Idiot (dance capt.) @ La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, and Recorded in Hollywood @ The Kirk Douglas(directed by Denise Dowse).
Outside of CA, Dylan reprised his role of Baby John in West Side Story @ Barrington Stage Company.
