CAMBRIDGE MUSIC GRADUATE
My name is Freeman, and I’ve been playing piano since I was 5. My early musical experience included playing classical music and winning several awards at the Hong Kong Inter-School Music Festival. I then moved to study in the United Kingdom at the age of 14, and both boarding schools, Woodbridge School and Queens Ethelburgas, awarded me a Music Excellence Scholarship. At 16, I also achieved the ATCL piano diploma with distinction (top score in my county). Following that, I studied music at the University of Cambridge, graduating with honors( with piano performance) in 2022. While at university, I served as the musical director for the University Jazz Orchestra, which was responsible for the creation of concert programmes and performed in high-profile gigs (including performing for Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Honorary Fellows such as Reverend Jesse Jackson), gaining a reputation for excellence in performance.
Additionally, I had a chance to play with Grammy-winning artist Jacob Collier. In addition to performing, I also studied with Mike Ladouceur, Professor of the Royal College of Music and University Of Cambridge, Hollywood film composer (who composed the film Black Widow) for film score arrangement. As a musician, I am well versed in many genres, including jazz, classical, pop music and many others.
