Mandy Germain is a Haitian film editor based in Toronto. Recently graduated from Humber Polytechnic’s Film and Media Production program with a diploma in Film and Television production, he is passionate about bringing stories to life. His short films, Beach House and Secret Ingredient, have played in festivals around Toronto, including the Alternative Film Festival and the Toronto Shorts International Film Festival. He has also worked on various projects which include a cooking television show called Cross Country Cake-Off, where he was an assistant editor. Through these various projects, he’s been able to become proficient in various software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Avid Media Composer. He has gained experience in different genres and formats of editing, adapting to new ideas and programs. Mandy thrives in collaborative environments. With skills in media asset management, color grading, and workflow optimization, Mandy is eager to contribute his skills to dynamic post-production teams.
