uniE608 A refreshing take on cybersecurity
At Material Security, I led the strategy and creative efforts, partnering closely with the co-founders and Head of Marketing to establish a compelling new brand for the startup’s launch out of stealth. Material Security envisioned a radical new approach to email security. Together, we defined the brand strategy, name, visual identity, and new website, which played a crucial role in our successful launch backed by iconic investors and venture capital groups. We utilized simple geometry in the logo, typeface, and illustrations, complemented by a restrained RGB color system. Balancing brand and product, we showcased Material Security’s solutions by using simplified UI and abstract visuals based on scientific schematics, breaking down complex problems to their core components and reconstructing the narrative for the viewer. uniE608 A new era for Travel & Expense
Navan is an all-in-one travel, corporate card, and expense management solution that is pioneering the next generation of business software using AI generative technology. As business travel returned after the pandemic, and as hybrid work becomes more complex, Navan, formerly known as TripActions, offers a personalized, people-centric product design that makes it easy to book travel and track expenses. And importantly, the brand needed to create an ownable and competitively differentiated position and provocative point-of-view as it sought to evolve from “product” to “brand.” This late-stage startup initiated a rebrand to coincide with the consolidation of all its platform solutions into one super app. As VP of Global Brand and Creative, I led the full rebrand process including Brand Strategy, Naming, Visual Identity, and launch activations. uniE621 Elevating prescription skincare
Curology, a pioneer in personalized prescription skincare, experienced a remarkable surge in its acne business. By 2020, 85% of their revenue were in this space despite acne care being a small fraction of the overall skincare market. Full case study here: https://www.twine.net/signin Through the establishment of its Consumer Insights practice and a thorough market analysis, the company came to the realization that creating a new brand catering to the unique requirements and concerns of the vast anti-aging audience was imperative for it to expand its reach. Given its digital-first nature, the visual toolkit had to be extensive and flexible enough to produce hundreds of assets every month.
