In 2011, I unexpectedly entered the world of photography and documentary filmmaking. This happened during a music production job, where I was suddenly asked to take photos. To my surprise, I discovered that I enjoyed photography more than music production, and thus began my career in this direction. Over the past years, I have mainly dedicated myself to portrait photography, with a particular focus on capturing powerful portraits of men. Often, well-known Dutch figures and executives have limited time for photo shoots, which can sometimes feel like an obligation. Nevertheless, it gives me immense satisfaction when I hear afterwards that someone is pleased with their portrait. It is a source of great appreciation for me. Since late 2018, I have truly begun the transition towards more video productions. Nowadays, the majority of my time, along with my team, is spent creating documentaries and video assignments for both commercial entities and NGOs. Our motto in this regard is "We create cinematic documentaries with a social heart for the subject." In 2023, I stopped ambassadorships for photography-focused brands such as Fujifilm and Profoto to focus primarily on videography.
