Jackie Lebovits is a bicoastal television writer. Jackie graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University (NYU) with a concentration in the psychology of media, comedy writing, and film production. She began her career in children’s media as a talent production assistant for the iconic show “Sesame Street” in New York City, and fell in love with the comedic, educational, and heartfelt world of kids TV. Jackie was promoted to writers’ assistant on Sesame Workshop’s new show for Apple TV+, “Helpsters,” where she sold her first script: the show’s season two finale. In January 2020, Jackie moved from New York to Los Angeles to work for Netflix Animation as a script coordinator on “Ridley Jones,” a new animated children’s show by Chris Nee, where she wrote three episodes.
She was most recently a staff writer at Disney Television Animation.
