Jackson Kang’ethe is a Kenyan Cinematographer known for collaborating with director Zippy Okoth on the award-nominated film Midlife Crisis (2020) and Otis Janam (2024). He won Best Cinematographer in the 48hour film project (2021) for the movie Hypnagogia. Kang’ethe has worked on other short films like Inheritance (2023), Detour, Kanairo and Uamuzi with Various directors like Nick Reding and Wanjiro Kairo. He has been interested in filmmaking since the age of 13 and is passionate about telling genuine African stories that reflect African society. Kang’ethe has also contributed to Lusala (2019) as an AC, Surviving Black Hawk Down (2025) and Bufis (2022) as a camera operator.
