    Deaf since birth, Jacob had difficulty communicating until he discovered art and began expressing himself through visual imagery around 11 years old. Jacob says art is a “universal language” and continues to create new works of art.
    Jacob began receiving notice for his talents in 2006, when he took 1st place for his submission to a “Stop Smoking” Campaign contest. By the age of 16, he had won 4 awards from local shows.
    By 2013, he had expanded his creative endeavors, utilizing new technologies such as Photoshop, illustrator, graphics Artist and Premiere to create new works in an expanding medium.
