I’m a highly experienced copywriter and content specialist, and an emerging audio creator/podcast producer.
I have writing and editing experience across all short and long form content, and I am a published features writer and reviewer, and an experienced publications editor and interviewer. I am also an organised and proactive producer across print and digital, and am keen to translate these skills into a role in audio.
I have an Arts/Law degree and a postgrad in Applied Media (web production and journalism). I have also recently completed a podcast production course and am currently building an audio portfolio.
Until mid-2023, I worked for almost 10 years as a content specialist with Australia Post Philatelic. Basically, I led the content process for stamps. I developed themes and stories, engaged in research, curated and interpreted items and visuals, briefed designers, liaised with experts, fact-checked, sorted image permissions and copyright issues, wrote accompanying narratives, and then developed promotional content, via eDM (my collectables eDM had a subscriber base of 150,000), social, blogs, interviews, book entries and more. I was also involved in large brand awareness initiatives. So, basically, I can produce creative projects, end to end in a creative, strategic, organised and collaborative way.
Prior to this role, I ran a content consultancy for almost 15 years (across diverse sectors, including for marketing and branding agencies), alongside content and communications role in the education sector, government, media and local government.
