Jesse Myers is a Los Angeles-based freelance composer, arranger, and recording drummer providing remote audio services for video games, podcasts, advertisements, short films, educational resources, and other related media. Most recently, he served as Audio Director for Crispy Creative Studio’s debut title A Long Journey to an Uncertain End, providing a full original soundtrack consisting of a blend of orchestral, digital and folk elements, while additionally provide over 100 bespoke sound effects, as well as directing the game’s talented voice actors for the game’s emote-based dialogue system. The game released on Steam and Nintendo Switch, with positive reviews and praise for its music and storytelling. As a drummer, Jesse is in demand for providing recording services for drum set and auxiliary percussion. Rooted in the jazz tradition and big band sounds, he also branches into rock and pop inspired music guided by his early love for Steve Gadd, Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Neil Peart, Taylor Hawkins, and a plethora of other amazing performers. Jesse can be heard as a featured drummer for the Multiplayer Big Band, providing drums for video game arrangements of classic game soundtracks, as well as indie titles such as My Familiar (Chintzy Ink), Quartet (Something Classic), and The Ranch of Rivershine (Cozy Bee Games). When not writing or recording, Jesse also arranges for a variety of chamber ensembles. He was awarded runner-up as part of the Videri String Quartet’s Quarentets competition for his unique arrangement of “The Shelter” as composed by Olivier Deriviere for A Plague Tale: Innocence. Jesse now serves as an arranger for Videri for a number of upcoming projects. He also has worked with the Zelter Quartet based in Los Angeles. Currently, Jesse is providing music for several indie titles currently in development.
