I’m a highly motivated and hard-working individual, who is currently studying Media Technology at the University of Salford . I’m seeking to gain work so I can fund my car and learn new skills. I have gained three distinctions on the media studies course I did at Runshaw College. My part time passion and end goal is to be a Lighting and Sound Technician it’s the career I plan to pursue in the future. I have always be interested by how different pieces of tech work. Another passion of mine is Video Editing, currently I only do it as a hobby, but I have been teaching myself since 2019. My preferred NLE is Vegas Pro, but I have also used DaVinci Resolve for some projects for Uni and have used to a smaller extent, Premier Pro. I have already been gaining some work experience at my local theatre, since 2019 I have been volunteering for shows to assist with the tech. I have assisting in setting up the filming and streaming of church services for my parish church and spending my spare time Running a Minecraft server and learning more about lighting and sound. Most recently I have been invited to help out with updating the lighting design for my Uni’s News studio. I possess an eagerness to learn and develop my skills further in a practical on the job setting.
