I tend to write a lot of curly brackets and push pixels around, which have been attributed with many different titles. Most commonly, I’ve been called a “Creative Technologist” or “Product Developer,” I’ve been particularly successful in early stage developments, where I focus on iteratively generating the product’s needs and features and then creating prototypes and MVPs. I enjoy working on LEAN greenfield projects or tackling tricky problems within larger corporate entities.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats – from Creative Technologist and Graphics Designer to Motion Graphics Designer, Rich Media Designer, User Interface Designer, User Experience Designer, Frontend Developer, Full Stack Developer, Innovation Consultant, Art Teacher, JavaScript Engineer, Web Developer, and Web Designer, to name just a few, which essentially means that I’m skilled in the mystical arts of building digital products such as websites and apps. For this, I generally summon my arcane knowledge of Graphics Design, User Centric Design, and “Fullstack” Development.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to make things better, faster, and more beautiful. I’ve been captivated by the web since I was a kid, building my first website back in the mid-90s (which, by the way, could fit on a floppy disc!).
But, all in all, what it boils down to is that I like to make things better, faster, and more beautiful
