Looking for a songwriter and composer to help develop a theatrical debut album that blends heavy rock/metal influences in its first half with melodic, ambient material in its second half. The album follows an emotional narrative around suicide, grief, regret, and personal experiences. The sound should draw from artists such as Ghost, My Chemical Romance, Sleep Token, and Sleeping with Sirens, with *The Black Parade* as a key reference for its theatrical, story-driven approach. Songs should feel emotionally intense, memorable, and cohesive across the album. I have ideas for multiple songs but need help making them feel heavier, more emotionally impactful, and stronger compositionally. Experience writing hard rock, emo, metal, and cinematic/concept-album material is important. Read more

I am a senior college student preparing for my capstone project, for which I will need at least 1 song. I am positioning myself as an Art Director for this project, and I am fleshing out the direction I want to take the project in. Conceptually, I want the song to talk about grief. This song could go in many different directions. For the genre, I am thinking something pop or alt-pop, with lots of layering and complex production. I also love electronic elements. I'd like the process to be somewhat of a collaboration. In the end, your demo will be the final result for the larger project. However, I might also want to rehire you to produce the song with someone else's vocals. If you would like to be more involved in the project, I will also need a model! However, that is not required or expected. As I'm just a college student, I don't have a huge budget. I'm looking for someone who would take on this small project for the love of the game. If you're just trying to get experience or make a bit of cash, I would love to work with you! Help a small designer create their capstone and graduate :) Read more
