I'm an audio engineer available to score your video, add creative and engaging sound design, and mix it all down for any medium that you need. I studied Music Composition during my undergrad years, and Audio Engineering/Recording at Institute of Audio Research afterwards. I love working on podcasts and music scores the most - but I am an all around audio guy, and can even do a little bit of graphic design as well (see Ahimsa in portfolio). I like to mix organic acoustic sounds with electric and sequenced sounds, retro analog synthesizer sounds, and unusual percussion sounds. I play lots of music with surf, pop, indie, psychedelic sounding artists and have mixed/produced/recorded many full albums as well.

uniE603 Ghedtair Composite - Kele Kele (Armenian Folk Tune)
This is an Armenian folk song by Komitas which I arranged and performed all instruments (except vocals, which are by Sevana Tchakerian). I mixed this as well, and it was mastered by DHS Mastering.
    uniE608 NYC Mayor's Office - COVID Commemoration
I composed/recorded the score, added all sound design, and mixed the final project. This was made for Mayor Di Blasio's office, in collaboration with NYC.gov and & Roses Co.
uniE603 Sheen Marina - Everythings the Water
This is a band that I front, and this is a song I wrote and sang from our 5 song EP from 2018, "Great Attractor".
    uniE603 Ahimsa, Chapter 0 - Listen
music podcast This was the first episode which served as an introduction to the entire 5 part podcast. It was meant to draw the listener in with minimal music/ambient sound design, spiritual choir music, and a connection between the narrator and the broader basis of the narrative.
    uniE608 La Luna
animation sounddesign musicscore This was completed as a project during my audio engineering education at the Institute of Audio Research, a 9 month program that I finished in 2015 in New York City. The assignment was to pick a video, strip the audio track, and re-create every sound. I decided to use an animated short from Pixar, and compose my own music in addition to recording voice over (with the help of two friends) and using sound effects from a library. This project presented many challenges - scoring the music to picture is always a big challenge for me, but is ultimately the most rewarding aspect. As this is an animation of a children’s story, there are lots of fantastical elements and visuals, which meant that I had to get creative in terms of creating appropriate sound effects that started from real or synthesized sounds (some examples are @ 3:25, the child knocks on the giant star, @ 1:06 the child floats up to the moon’s surface, or @ 4:25 as the child rakes up the mini stars). This was one of the most interesting and satisfying projects for me to complete because of the challenge presented by replacing all sound effects and music, while also capturing the original essence and playfulness of the story. It combined my attention to detail, problem solving, and musical creativity with a piece that allowed all of my personal styles to shine through.
