My name is Kate, and I am an actress based in the NYC metropolitan area, interested in the actor role with your company. I hold a BFA in Acting from UNC-Greensboro and have been performing in New York since graduation. I've had the privilege of playing roles like Amanda Winfield in 'The Glass Menagerie', participating in 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow', and collaborating with theater companies across Manhattan and Brooklyn. I have also worked on films such as, 'Ask for Jane', Boku Money (still in production) and The Summoners to note a few. Beyond stage and film acting, I taught young students essential voice and acting techniques, including pronunciation, elocution, breath work, scene study, and improvisation in my former business Kate’s Kids Acting Program. This work has honed my vocal versatility and given me a deep appreciation for vocal performance's power in storytelling. Currently, I’m working with ThirdWing LTD on both a theatrical reading (to be performed on October 29) and an upcoming film project. I also wrote a web series called Messy, which went onto winning several awards (best writing, actress, director) and was recently pitched to HBO as a 27 minute dramedy.
