House of Cards is a game following an unnamed card mage, going through a kingdom and getting rid of the evil cards that threaten to destroy his home. The script is attached , as I wrote the entire thing myself during my time with the School of Interactive Arts (SIA). SIA is a game design program in NYC for high school students, and during my senior year, at the height of COVID, a small studio created this game where I was the Head of Narrative. This is the script for a game called ChangelingVR, a VR narrative mystery game, where you play as the dream walker Aurelia. When a family calls her about a problem with their baby, she embarks on a journey through the minds of herself and others and learn everything she can. She will find that she's not prepared for what she discovers...
I was the Narrative Lead for this game, meaning I heavily assisted in scriptwriting and research, as well as coordinating with other teams to finish the project during our period working there. This was my senior solo, a performance given to all graduating members, and this song and performance means so much to me. This version is unfinished in terms of animation, but with complete music, as to not expose the quality of their work before public release. It was a very fun project, as we both got to focus on more eerie, horror elements of composing which was a fresh terrain for both of us!
