I am a passionate graphic designer from Seattle with over four years of experience in digital and print media. With a background in studio photography and experience in end-to-end print and digital production, I am a strategic and innovative collaborator. I'm a sucker for bright colors, crisp lines, and unique illustrations, creating all my projects with great meticulousness and care. While my roles on small in-house marketing teams for both large corporations and small startups have provided me with a variety of experience, I shine in creating stunning informational graphics, manipulating large amounts of text or data, and crafting personalized branding solutions. **Employment and project experience** **Graphic Designer** Placemakr _June 2022 - January 2023_ **Graphic Designer** Expeditors _October 2021 - March 2022_ **Junior Designer** Expeditors _April 2019 - October 2021_ **Design Intern** National Color _January 2019 - April 2019_ **Admissions Representative** Seattle Art Museum _September 2015 - April 2019_

    uniE621 Brand Campaign - Placemakr
Within the hospitality industry there is a debate as to whether hotels, with their well-managed facilities but high rates, or Airbnbs, with their affordability but lack of quality, are the better option for vacation lodging. Placemakr, a hospitality startup, sits right at the intersection between hotels and vacation rentals and wanted to position themselves as the better option of the two. The brand team kicked off a multi-platform campaign around the concept of "why choose?," highlighting the transparency and quality of their rooms and amenities. Together with a copyeditor I took point on concepting and creating visuals for this campaign. We focused on the comparative aspect of the industry, presenting a handful of stereotypical negative reviews associated with hotels and vacation rentals alongside stunning images of Placemakr properties to really push the contrast between the two options. We added repeating text elements to set up a unifying factor for the campaign and welcome customers into the idea of Placemakr. Upon completion, the campaign included a suite of materials across social and web with the ability to expand into print. graphicdesigner branding designer brandcampaign socialmedia marketing
    uniE621 Ebook Design - Expeditors
Expeditors, a supply chain logistics company, frequently uses flyers and downloadable PDFs to educate customers about their products and services. A large bulk of daily design work at Expeditors revolves around how to convey lengthy sections of text with visual interest. These are examples of some of the solutions I utilized when designing Expeditors ebooks and digital flyers: namely, the use of bright colors, a focus on large images, and repeated use of overlapping textural elements. graphicdesigner designer layout typography flyer ebook sales marketing
    uniE621 Infographic - Expeditors
During my time at Expeditors, a supply chain logistics company, I was frequently challenged to convey complicated processes in easily digestible formats for our social media channels. Designed to be eye catching and engaging, each graphic breaks down a company product or service offering and allows it to be more easily understood by potential customers. graphicdesigner designer infographic illustration branding marketing sales
uniE621 Package Design - Personal Project
Incline Cider’s summer sampler pack was a capstone project for a package design course. While I was limited to the bottle and carrier physical structure, I was free to design all of the printed surface elements. I chose to highlight two new seasonal cider flavors and based my design around the fun colors and cheerful atmosphere that comes with PNW summers. To highlight the playful nature of both the company and the flavors, I created a custom illustration for the bottle labels, elements of which are also found in the carrier design. Colors and fonts were tweaked to match the mood of each flavor with all elements being found in the final carrier design. To best highlight the end result, I constructed and photographed the final mockups. graphicdesigner designer packagedesign packaging branding illustration typography product photography
    uniE621 Catalogue - Expeditors
With such a large customer base and significant number of employees, Expeditors has a frequent need for branded promotional materials and gifts. All of these items are managed though an online store; however, every year or so the marketing team highlights the newest swag additions through an online and printed catalog. The 2020 company catalog process fell under my domain. I organized the items to be featured, photographed any new products, designed all of the catalog spreads, and managed the printing process through our vendor. Because of its focus on sustainability and an active lifestyle, I took inspiration from outdoor retail catalogs. The end result is a clean and balanced display of a variety of products. graphicdesigner designer catalogue layout printproduction prepress photography typography
    uniE621 Company Calendar - Expeditors
Expeditors, an international Fortune 500 company, produces printed calendars each year to be distributed throughout branches and customer offices. I was in charge of the design for both the 2020 and 2021 desk calendars. For the 2021 design I drew inspiration from bold duotone imagery and applied it to a series of photographs representing the various aspects of the logistics industry. After narrowing down imagery and a repeatable color scheme, I worked through layout options for both the pages and the backerboard. The final result is a bright and colorful calendar whose consistent patterns are offset by an asymmetrical backerboard with metallic printed details. graphicdesigner designer calendar printproduction prepress color typography layout
