uniE621 The Carter Center 2018 Annual Report Design
As a graphic designer, I was tasked with creating a vibrant and bold annual report for The Carter Center. The report needed to represent the legacy of the organization, while also celebrating the diverse cultures that it serves. To achieve this goal, I began by brainstorming with the team on the design concepts and color schemes that would best represent The Carter Center's mission. We decided to use colorful and bold patterns from different cultures, which we incorporated throughout the report. For the cover, we used only the tagline, "Waging Peace. Fighting Disease. Building Hope." The use of shadows and UV coating was employed to give the report a unique and memorable look, while also representing the organization's legacy. In terms of publication layout, we made sure to include important information such as the financial report and a summary of the organization's accomplishments. We also included photos of the organization's work in action, showing the impact it has had on communities around the world. To achieve the final design, I used my skills in graphic design, Photoshop, and layout development. The end result was a comprehensive and visually stunning annual report that accurately represented The Carter Center's mission, legacy, and cultural diversity. We believe that the report we created will help The Carter Center to amplify its brand and showcase the important work it does in promoting peace, fighting disease, and building hope in communities around the world.

    uniE621 Event Invitation
As a graphic designer, I had the opportunity to work on the brand presence and marketing materials for the launch event of the Brain Health Center at Emory University. The center is a state-of-the-art facility that specializes in the treatment and research of brain-related disorders, and the client needed a visual brand identity that would reflect the center's mission and values. To achieve this, we utilized Emory University's secondary color palette and designed a modern organic pattern that represented the texture of the brain. The design was playful and clean, meant to appeal to potential donors, and featured on all the event materials, including Save the Dates, event signage, email headers, envelopes, invitations, and the event program. One challenge in this project was to strike a balance between communicating the center's serious nature and creating an approachable brand identity. We achieved this by keeping the design visually appealing and lighthearted, without sacrificing the center's mission and values. Overall, our goal was to provide the client with comprehensive marketing materials that would help them communicate their message and mission to potential donors and supporters. With our help, the Emory University Brain Health Center had a successful launch event that allowed them to showcase their state-of-the-art facility and commitment to advancing the research and treatment of brain-related disorders.
